4-bedroom (sleeps 16), 3 1/2-bath, single-family vacation home for rent in Destin Crystal Beach area
Just 160 steps from your front door to the Destin, FL, beach boardwalk — a gorgeous, two-story vacation rental home with a wrap-around porch on each level! This stunning 4-bedroom, 3 ½-bath home is located in the heart of Destin in the Crystal Beach neighborhood. This home has never been a rental before we owned it, so it is in excellent condition. This home was purchased empty — so, from the furniture to the dishes and linens and everything in between, it’s all brand new! The entire home has been recently painted. All of the furniture is upscale and newly purchased.
Comfortable family room and dining area with well-stocked kitchen
Enter the front door of this beach paradise, and you will find yourself in the living room which can seat your entire group comfortably. After a long day at the beach, unwind in this family friendly room and watch the huge 60” flat panel television. Bring your movies from home and use the new blue-ray player or watch one of the many cable channels provided for you. The living room, dining area and kitchen blend seamlessly together so that everyone is included in the gathering. The dining table seats 6 and there are 4 bar stools for eating. Perch on a bar stool and watch the cook prepare a fabulous meal in the chef’s kitchen. Top-of-the-line appliances are complemented by brand new pots and pans, utensils, glassware and dishes. Huge windows in the living room, dining room and kitchen bring in the bright sunshine.
Spacious master suite conveniently located on first floor
At the rear of the 1st floor is a master suite complete with its own bathroom and walk-in closet. A king bed dominates this room and the soothing blues and grays make this room a tranquil paradise. If you don’t want quiet, you can watch your favorite show or movie in bed on the huge, wall-mounted 40” television with its new Blu-ray player. French doors lead to the rear porch and outdoor pool. You can be lazy and stay in bed while the kids frolic in the pool but you can still keep your eye on them for safety! A pool alarm has been installed for piece of mind for the little ones in your party.
Laundry room with extra-large capacity equipment
If you must do laundry while you are here, the large laundry room with extra-large capacity brand new washer and dryer will make the job easier. An ironing board and iron are provided for your use. Next to the spacious laundry room is a half bath for guests to use rather than the individual en suite bathroom.
Additional master suite on second floor with porch and ocean view
Go upstairs and discover an amazing selection of bedroom options. The main master bedroom is located at the front of the home and has access to the second-floor porch. You can see the ocean from this porch! This room is huge! There is a new, plush king mattress with gorgeous bedding and a large, 42″ flat-panel television mounted on the wall with a Blu-ray player. Additionally, if you have little ones that love to sleep in your room, there is a queen sleeper sofa located at one end of this room. They can be with Mom and Dad, but they have their own bed! The bedding is located in the trunk in front of the sleeper. The master bath is grand with double sinks, a garden tub and a separate shower. An oversize walk-in master closet completes this master suite you will love to call your own!
Second-floor guest bedroom with its own large TV
Right down the hall is a private guest bedroom complete with a queen bed. This room also has its own large 40” television with blue-ray player. No sharing televisions in this home unless you want to!
Bunk room sleeps six and comes with its own TV
The bunk room is kid-friendly and sleeps as many as six people. Of course, they must have their own television and we made this one extra-large — a whopping 50” because that’s what kids like! Again, no television is complete without a Blu-ray player. There is access with a sliding door to the upstairs porch from this room, also.
The bunk room and queen guest suite share an oversize bath that is convenient for both. Two sinks make getting ready to go a snap! A huge walk-in shower is located in this bath.
Additional amenities
All mattresses in our home are encased in zippered protectors to keep the bedding allergy-free, dust mite-free and bed bug-free. This is what you deserve when you travel — peace of mind for your family and a clean, healthy environment.
The entire first floor is carpet-free! Designer tile and wood floors eliminate the worry of getting sand in the carpet. Upstairs for soft comfort, all bedrooms have new carpet with the bathrooms having a tile finish.
At the end of a long day on the beach, everyone can gather in the backyard. Fire up the new gas grill when you don’t want to wait for restaurant service. Watch the family swim in the pool from the comfort of two chaise lounges. There’s also a large, grassy area perfect for lawn games.
As mentioned earlier, it is only 160 steps from front door to the beach boardwalk. The Tarpon beach access is located right near the home, and you can see the sign from our driveway. The lot next to our home has no home on it, and the open space means plenty of privacy for you and your family. Walk by this one empty lot and you are on the sand!
There is a closet at the rear of the home that is equipped with a cooler with wheels, a cart for taking your items to the beach, pool toys and beach toys.
In addition to the home’s fabulous amenities, we also include beach service for free. Two chairs and an umbrella will be set up for you every day of your stay at the Tarpon Street beach access. We believe that including this free beach service will make your stay complete. When you return to the house, there is an outdoor shower located right outside the front door so you can wash off your feet and toys before you enter the home.
This house has it all — and is ready to welcome you as our guests.
Things to do near our Destin vacation rental home
When you’re ready to venture away from this beach paradise, the Destin Commons shopping center is a short five-minute drive away. The Commons has just been expanded and includes numerous stores and restaurants, along with a Bass Pro Shops, Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill and a large AMC movie theater.
To the west, Publix is directly across the street from the Commons, and Walmart is nearby. If you go east, a 10-minute drive will take you to the Silver Sands Factory outlet stores. There is no shortage of things to do in the Destin area, and the opportunities for shopping, recreation, family fun and excitement are endless.
Before you arrive, spend time surfing the web to learn more about Destin. There are many wonderful things to do here. In addition to deep-sea fishing, pontoon boating, jet skiing and parasailing, there are so many fantastic areas to explore. Look up Emerald Grande which includes shops and restaurants right on the Harbor. As you are walking the boardwalk, you can scale a rock wall, zipline or see all of the deep-sea charters pulling in and watch while they clean the fish.
The Wharf at the Village of Baytown in the Sandestin area is another family favorite. Restaurants, shops, ziplining and more are located in a beautiful setting right on Choctawatchee Bay.
If you want to venture further, drive 98 E to Hwy 30A. You’ll have a gorgeous scenic drive through many villages, including Blue Mountain Beach, Inlet Beach, Watercolor, Seaside and Rosemary Beach.
